The 3rd Annual Georgetown’s Art In The Park,May 31 and June 1, 2008, This charming juried festival featuring 200  fine artists offers patrons 2 full days of art as well as a classical music concert and fireworks Saturday Night.  San Gabriel Park is a wonderfully site with huge live oak trees and pathway overlooking the river below.  The festival area is on “high ground” with both shade and sunny areas that artists and patrons enjoy.

Georgetown, Texas is just 26 miles up Highway 35 from Austin Texas.  Near the world headquarters of Dell Computer, Del Webb’s Sun City and home to many who work in Austin and live in the wonderful community of Georgetown. The greater Austin area with over 1.5 million residents is one of the fastest growing areas in Texas. 

Lynette Wallace Productions – Festival Director.  Lynette Wallace is known for her 13 years of leadership in directing the Bayou City Art Festivals, Houston Texas bringing them into top national ranking, and working with artists on their needs and concerns.  Lynette, having started her own company, is continuing to direct The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival which has received much praise in its first 2 years.  Lynette and her team are making Georgetown’s Art In The Park a wonderful festival which has a patron base and ambiance artists have come to expect from her shows.   Artists will be treated with respect and the promise of a well-run show with over $50,000 being spent in media & promotion within the greater Austin area. continue...
